Wild Woman WEllness retreat at Long Hollow Ranch
A Weekend To Awaken the Wild Within
Welcome to a weekend for women who love horses, wide open spaces, and a little dust on their boots.
The Wild Woman Wellness Retreat is an intimate, all-inclusive escape designed for riders of all experience levels. Whether you’re easing back into the saddle or simply craving a deeper connection with horses and nature, this is your chance to slow down and soak in the magic of the ranch.
Alongside guided trail rides and cozy fireside moments, you’ll enjoy a 60-minute massage, time to explore the art of gratitude journaling, and space to truly rest. While the weekend is full of connection, movement, and joy—it’s also intentionally paced to give you time to reset and just be.
We keep it personal—just five guests, or six if two friends choose to share our Black Butte Room, which features two twin beds and a private bathroom. Whether you book this retreat with your closest girlfriends or show up solo and leave with new ones, this weekend is about women supporting women—sharing stories, space, and laughter.
It’s a place where strangers become trail sisters, where no one’s competing, and where we remind each other to never dull our sparkle. This is your invitation to rest, ride, reflect—and ignite the Wild Woman within.
What’s Included:
Two guided trail rides through the high desert—one scenic sunset ride on Friday, and a longer adventure on Saturday morning

A 60-minute massage for every guest, offered in our peaceful barn retreat space
“Guided by Gratitude” closing reflection to intentionally end the weekend and integrate what you’ve experienced

"She needs no permission, no agenda, no audience—just a horse, a trail, and the quiet kind of magic that lives in the rhythm of hooves and breath. Out here, she doesn’t perform—she reconnects. To the land. To her spirit. To the woman she’s always been becoming."

Wild Woman Wellness Retreat Weekend FAQs
Q: How many guests can attend?
We host a maximum of 5 ladies per weekend, making this an intimate and personalized experience. You’re welcome to book with friends—or come solo and connect with other adventurous women who share your mindset and love for the western way of life.
Q: Where do we stay?
You'll stay in our historic 130-year-old Ranch House, with private bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Four bedrooms have queen beds, and one bedroom has two twin beds.
Q: Are meals included?
Yes! All meals are included and cooked fresh by your personal ranch chef. Meals are served in the Ranch House dining room, with one dinner hosted outdoors beside the pond (weather permitting).
Q: What kind of riding experience do I need
The Wild Woman Wellness Retreat is designed for riders with previous horse experience who are confident and comfortable in the saddle for longer periods of time. You'll spend nearly six hours riding over two days, including trails that may involve uneven terrain, hills, and natural obstacles.
This weekend is perfect for women who want more than a casual trail ride—it's for those looking to truly connect with their horse, explore the landscape, and ride with purpose.
If you're newer to riding or prefer a more relaxed pace, we recommend checking out our Girlfriends’ Getaway Weekend instead!
Q: Is alcohol included?
Yes! Your retreat package includes a welcome drink upon arrival, plus beer, wine, cider, and seltzers available throughout your stay. Each dinner features a curated cocktail pairing, along with a dessert cocktail to end the evening on a sweet note.
If you'd like to enjoy additional beverages outside of the hosted pairings, we’ll have a selection available for purchase by the bottle or glass—perfect for relaxing after your chef wraps up for the night.
We also keep the Ranch House stocked with non-alcoholic favorites like sparkling water, lemonade, coffee, tea, and creamer. Have a special drink request? Let us know—we’re happy to personalize your stay! *Additional charges may apply based on requests.
Q: Is there a minimum number of guests required to run the weekend?
Yes—we require a minimum of 4 guests to run each Girlfriends’ Getaway weekend. If a weekend doesn’t meet the minimum, we’ll reach out to discuss rescheduling options or offer a full refund. You’re always welcome to book as a smaller group—we’ll do our best to pair you with another fun crew if spots are available!
Q: Can I bring my own drinks?
Yes! You're welcome to bring your own beer or wine to enjoy during your stay.
We ask that all drinking be done responsibly and respectfully—this is a laid-back, connection-focused weekend, and we want to keep the vibe relaxed and fun for everyone.
Note: Hard alcohol and spirits are not permitted to be brought.
Q: Can I come alone or do I need to book with a group?
You can do either! We welcome solo riders, besties, sisters, or full groups of five. Everyone will ride together, and have their own room and bathroom.
Q: What should I pack?
We recommend comfy layers, boots or closed-toe shoes for riding, a hat, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and whatever makes you feel cozy and at home. We have a hot tub and pond to enjoy as well - so pack that swimsuit!
Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions
Absolutely! We’re happy to accommodate most dietary needs or food allergies—just let us know in advance when booking so our chef can prepare accordingly.
Q: Can I customize my massage?
Absolutely! You're more than welcome to enhance your massage with add-ons like hot stones, aromatherapy, or extra time. These options can be discussed directly with your massage therapist during your session, and any upgrades will be paid directly to them at the time of service.
Q: Do I have to ride a horse to attend?
Nope! If you’d rather skip the trail ride and just enjoy the scenery, meals, and connection time, you’re still welcome to join. Please note there is no change in pricing, as riding is an included experience whether you participate or not.
Q: What if I’m an experienced rider, but my friends are beginners?
We tailor our rides to match the pace of the most inexperienced rider in the group to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.
Q: How do I book my spot for the Wild Woman’s Wellness Retreat Weekend?
Booking your weekend escape is easy! Here’s how:
Send us an email to
info@thelonghollowranch.com
Once we have hit the minimum guest count required for a dude ranch weekend we will send you a link to your digital reservation portal, where you can place a credit card on file and read more about our policies.
We will charge you a 10% non-refundable fee to hold your place ($175)! We will charge the rest of the weekend fee on the day of your arrival to the card that we have on file.
Q: Can we book the whole weekend for a private group of 5?
Yes! If you and your crew want the entire weekend to yourselves, we offer a Full Weekend Buyout for $6,000. That includes all lodging, meals, rides, and activities for up to 5 guests—breaking down to about $1200 per person for an unforgettable, all-inclusive experience.
Q: Can I bring my own horse to the ranch?
For the safety of our animals and guests, we maintain a closed herd at Long Hollow Ranch and do not allow outside horses to join our all-inclusive ranch weekends like the Wild Woman Weekend. Our horses are carefully matched to each rider and trained specifically for our terrain and program style.
That said, if you have a group of experienced riders interested in booking a custom retreat and bringing your own horses, we’d love to chat! We do offer overnight horse boarding in specific cases, but a private stay or à la carte booking might be a better fit than one of our curated weekend packages.
Give us a call and let’s talk through what might work best for your group—we’re happy to help you plan something unforgettable.
Q: What weekends are available to book?
We’ll be offering a limited number of weekends during the summer season. Dates will be released soon—so stay tuned and be ready to snag your spot before they’re gone!
