Winter Women’s Wellnes Retreat
Restore • Rebalance • Reignite
Book Now to Save Your Spot | January 16th, 17th, 18th 2026
Welcome to a winter escape designed to help your body soften, your mind quiet, and your nervous system finally breathe.
The Winter Wellness Retreat at Long Hollow Ranch is a deeply restorative, all-inclusive weekend focused on movement, recovery, horses, warmth, and intentional rest. This is not a hustle-style retreat. It is slow mornings, steady breath, crackling fires, quiet strength, and the grounding presence of horses.
Across three winter days, your body will move through guided stretching, mellow yoga flow, balance and stability training, and individual recovery sessions. You will ride through crisp high desert air, soak in hot tubs under starry skies, rotate through infrared sauna and cold plunge cycles, and learn how to nourish yourself through hands-on Ayurvedic-inspired cooking.
Evenings are cozy and ceremonial. From the Glow & Let Go Fire Ceremony, where you release stress into the flames and step into your next season lighter, to the guided meditation and sound bath in the barn, every detail is built around restoration, not productivity.
This retreat is intentionally intimate, limited to just five guests, with the option for six guests if two friends choose to share our Black Butte Room with twin beds and a private bath. Whether you arrive with a friend or come solo, this is a weekend grounded in quiet connection, comfort, and support.
No pressure. No performance. Just steady movement, nourishing meals, and space to reset.

"She needs no permission, no agenda, no audience—just a horse, a trail, and the quiet kind of magic that lives in the rhythm of hooves and breath. Out here, she doesn’t perform—she reconnects. To the land. To her spirit. To the woman she’s always been becoming."

We host a maximum of five guests per weekend to keep the experience intimate and deeply personalized. A sixth guest may be added if two friends are comfortable sharing the twin beds in our Black Butte Room with a private bathroom. Whether you arrive with friends or come solo, the retreat is designed to foster genuine connection, comfort, and a relaxed, supportive environment.
Q: Where do we stay?
You'll stay in our historic 130-year-old Ranch House, with private bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Four bedrooms have queen beds, and one bedroom has two twin beds.
Q: Are meals included?
Yes! All meals are included and cooked fresh by your personal ranch chef. Meals are served in the Ranch House dining room.
Q: What kind of riding experience do I need?
No prior riding experience is required for the Winter Wellness Retreat. Our guided trail ride is designed to be a relaxed, beginner-friendly stroll through our 438-acre ranch, focused on connection, fresh air, and enjoying the landscape at an easy pace. Whether it is your first time on a horse or you have ridden before and simply want a calm, grounding ride, this experience is all about presence, not performance.
Q: Is alcohol included?
Yes. Your retreat includes a welcome drink on arrival, plus a selection of beer, wine, cider, and seltzers available throughout the weekend. We also provide plenty of non-alcoholic options including sparkling water, coffee, tea, and lemonade. If you have a favorite drink, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
Q: Is there a minimum number of guests required to run the weekend?
Yes. The Winter Wellness Retreat must be fully booked with 5–6 guests in order to run. If a scheduled weekend does not reach full capacity, we will reach out to discuss rescheduling options or provide a full refund.
Q: Can I bring my own drinks?
To help us maintain a relaxed, safe, and balanced wellness environment, all alcoholic beverages are thoughtfully provided by the retreat. We ask that guests do not bring their own alcohol, unless it is needed for a specific dietary or medical reason and approved in advance. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at all times throughout the weekend.
Q: Do I need yoga, stretching, or fitness experience to participate?
No experience is required. All movement and stretch sessions are beginner-friendly and fully customizable. Every class is designed to meet you where you are, whether you are brand new to wellness movement or have an established practice. The focus is on feeling better in your body, not pushing limits.
Q: What type of rooms are included?
Guests stay in the historic 130-year-old Ranch House, with each guest receiving a private bedroom and private bathroom, unless two friends choose to share the Black Butte Room with twin beds and a private bath. All rooms are heated, cozy, and designed for comfort during the winter season.
Q: Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is Wi-Fi available at the Ranch House and limited cell service depending on your carrier. Many guests choose to unplug during the weekend, but you will still be able to check in with loved ones if needed.
Q: Can I come alone or do I need to book with a group?
You are welcome to book solo or with friends. Many guests arrive on their own and leave with meaningful connections. Each guest receives a private bedroom and bathroom, unless two friends choose to share the Black Butte Room with twin beds and a private bath. All guests participate in the retreat experience together, creating a warm, connected group environment.
Q: What should I pack?
Pack comfortable winter layers that you can move in, including warm leggings, sweaters, a jacket, gloves, and a beanie. You’ll want closed-toe shoes or boots for walking around the ranch and riding. Bring a swimsuit for the hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna sessions, plus a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
We also recommend anything that helps you feel cozy—your favorite socks, a book, or a journal for quiet moments.
Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions
Absolutely! We’re happy to accommodate most dietary needs or food allergies—just let us know in advance when booking so our chef can prepare accordingly.
Q: Do I have to ride a horse to attend?
Nope! If you’d rather skip the trail ride and just enjoy the scenery, meals, and connection time, you’re still welcome to join. Please note there is no change in pricing, as riding is an included experience whether you participate or not.
Q: What if I’m an experienced rider, but my friends are beginners?
We tailor our rides to match the pace of the most inexperienced rider in the group to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.
Q: How do I book my spot for the Winter Wellness Retreat?
To request a spot, please email us at info@thelonghollowranch.com.
Once all 5–6 guest spots are filled, we will send each confirmed guest a secure link to our digital reservation portal, where you will place a credit card on file and review the retreat policies.
At that time, the full retreat balance of $1,850 per guest will be charged in full. Because food, staffing, and experience costs are finalized and purchased in advance, all payments are non-refundable once the retreat is confirmed.
Final guest confirmations and payments will be completed at least five days prior to the retreat start date.
Q: What is the Glow & Let Go Ceremony?
The Glow & Let Go Ceremony is a guided fireside ritual designed to help you release stress, quiet mental noise, and step into the rest of your weekend feeling lighter and more grounded. Under the winter sky, guests are invited to write down anything they are ready to release, then safely offer it to the fire as an act of intention and renewal. The ceremony closes with a gentle self-smudging ritual led by Mel, focused on clearing energy, grounding the body, and stepping into your personal glow in a calm, connected way.
Q: Is this retreat appropriate for beginners or people who are out of shape?
Absolutely. This retreat is beginner-friendly and non-intimidating. You do not need prior yoga, stretching, riding, or fitness experience. Every session is designed to meet you where you are, with encouragement to listen to your body and rest as needed.
Q: Can I bring my own horse to the ranch?
For the safety of our animals and guests, we maintain a closed herd at Long Hollow Ranch. Outside horses are not permitted for our Winter Wellness Retreats, as our horses are specifically trained for our terrain, program structure, and rider experience levels.
If you have a private group of experienced riders interested in designing a custom retreat that includes your own horses, we’re happy to discuss options. In certain situations, we can offer overnight boarding as part of a private, tailored stay rather than one of our all-inclusive weekend packages.
Feel free to reach out—we’re always open to helping you create a weekend that fits your group’s needs.
Q: What weekends are available to book?
All currently available Winter Wellness Retreat dates are listed at the top of this page. Because each weekend is limited to 5–6 guests, availability is updated in real time and retreats often fill quickly.

With a background rooted in movement, dance, and athletic performance, Mel became a Certified Personal Trainer at 19 and went on to study yoga under a yogi master, completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. Jenna | Ranch Host & Retreat Facilitator
Jenna is your on-site host and assistant facilitator for the Winter Wellness Retreat. As the Ranch Manager at Long Hollow Ranch, she weaves together hospitality, horsemanship, and retreat experience design with an ease and intentionality that makes guests feel immediately grounded. Her background spans equine veterinary medicine, professional horse training and management, and years of event planning and guest experience work. That rare combination allows her to hold space for both the logistical flow of the weekend and the emotional needs of the women attending. Jenna oversees every detail of the retreat journey, from trail rides and animal care to the rhythm of each day, lodging comfort, and individual support for every guest.Jenna believes deeply in the healing power of land, animals, and the slower pace of ranch life. Her approach to hosting is intuitive and heart forward. She reads energy, creates safety, and facilitates connection in a way that helps guests soften, exhale, and feel truly seen. Many women arrive carrying stress or uncertainty and leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more themselves.Although she plans to pursue formal equine-assisted coaching and healing certifications, Jenna already practices a natural form of equine connection work through presence, relationship building, and mindful interaction with the herd. Guests often describe their time with the horses as unexpectedly emotional, grounding, and transformative. That environment is one Jenna intentionally cultivates. Most guests arrive as strangers and leave feeling like family, and Jenna is at the center of that transformation. Her gift is creating a retreat experience where women can step away from pressure, reconnect with who they are, and experience the quiet magic that only a ranch can offer.

Imagine yourself here, wrapped in warmth and stillness as your nervous system finally gets a moment to breathe. Guided yoga, deep stretching, and intentional rest invite your body to soften and release everything you have been carrying. This is where the noise quiets, where the pressure lifts, and where you feel your whole self begin to restore from the inside out.
Restore
Rebalance
Quiet ranch mornings, nourishing meals made with care, and movement that feels supportive instead of demanding set the rhythm for your reset. This is where your body finds its natural flow again. Through intentional movement, mindful nourishment, and unhurried moments, your energy begins to steady. The constant push softens into balance. You feel centered, supported, and back in sync with yourself.
Reignite
This is where the land meets your power. Where the steady presence of the horses mirrors the strength that already lives within you. As you ride out across open ground, breathe in cold clean air, and move in rhythm with the herd, something dormant stirs awake again. Confidence. Clarity. Fire.
The horses do not rush. They do not doubt. They move with purpose and certainty. And in their presence, you begin to remember how strong, capable, and grounded you truly are.
